Thomas Wedgwood III (1685-1739) was an English potter and the father of Josiah Wedgwood, the famous potter. Thomas was the elder son and heir of Thomas Wedgwood II and Mary Leigh of Burslem. He was master potter of the Churchyard Work, Burslem. He married Mary Stringer and they'd eleven children, three of whom died in infancy:

Aaron Wedgwood (1722-1767): Ancestor of William Wedgwood Benn, 1st Viscount Stansgate, patriarch of a prominent Labour family

Catherine Wedgwood (1726-1804). Her daughter Mary Willett was the mother of Sir Henry Holland.
